!00% Cotton or Not

I thought I was ordering a 100% cotton pinpoint wrinkle free shirt. The shirt I received was a 60/40 blend. Although I prefer 100% cotton pinpoint wrinkle free shirts, I decided to give the subject shirt a try and it’s okay, maybe not as breathable as the all cotton.

Fantastic bang for buck

Crisp, sharp looking shirt. Gets me lots of compliments. Can’t go wrong with the price. No wrinkles straight outta the dryer on the low heat setting.

Arrow makes a wonderful button down solid color oxford cloth shirt with long sleeves. This is perfect for workplace environments, casual business lunches and deals–and even school uniforms. The shirts stand the test of time–I’ve worn these forever. Moreover, they don’t wrinkle, especially if you take them out of the dryer as soon as the drying cycle is done. These shirts don’t even fray at the ends of the sleeves or the neck as long as you treat them with the proper care. I like the stitching very much. It seems that I have worn these shirts for ages and I have always been completely satisfied with them.

Arrow makes these shirts from a blend of 60% cotton and 40% polyester–this is excellent because this means that the shirts are permanent press. I always wash and dry mine in regular temperatures in the clothes washer and dryer; and there’s never a problem. The colors don’t bleed onto any white clothing, either. I’m impressed! Unfortunately, these shirts are available only in white on this website at the time I am writing this. Sigh.

The button down collar gives the shirt a more conservative look; but this works very well in most office environments. If you’re wearing this to a “sporty casual” event you can always wear this shirt with an open collar. The button down collar also helps keep the gentleman’s tie in place.

Just one thing: take these out of your dryer as soon as the drying cycle is finished. That way they will not need any ironing whatsoever and you’ll benefit from the full effect of the “wrinkle free” cloth. If you leave these in the dryer for hours they might need a bit of ironing; be careful!

Overall, I highly recommend these button down oxford cloth long sleeved shirts by Arrow. They are remarkably durable in that they really don’t wrinkle and they are permanent press. They give gents a great “look” at a relatively affordable price.

I bought this dress shirt for my husband, who is graduating and interviewing for jobs. It’s really nice and worth the price! It’s not hard to take care of as well–machine wash is ok, and very easy to iron. So I recommend it~

Too small

I am a big guy with muscular build. Even though it says 18-37, it is much too small in chest and arms. I got a Geoffrey beene shirt in 18-37 and it fits fine. Arrow must run a little small.

Not bad

Looks nice, and fits fine, but the quality is not that great. Do not regret the purchase, but would not by the same one again.

Excellent Dress Shirt
My husband loves his new dress shirt. Being quite tall, it is difficult finding shirts which fit the length of his arms and torso comfortably and neatly. This one is an excellent fit.

Being tall with wide shoulders and long arms, I have a hard time finding dress shirts that fit me well, and these fit just about perfectly. They stay tucked in and don’t “billow” around my waist the way most shirts do. The price is also unbeatable for a good quality shirt.

A wonderful material. It feels good on the skin and keeps you cool. The shirt irons smoothely and it has a wonderful shine to it. A best buy for me.

 Nice shirt
This is a nice shirt. Holds up well and the sateen fabric gives the shirt a nice sheen found on shirts twice this price. Best part: it’s ready to wear straight out of the dryer. These seem scarce in the retail stores now; thanks Amazon.
