Dress Shirts

Arrow makes a wonderful button down, permanent press, wrinkle resistant shirt with well made long sleeves. This is perfect for casual business deals and everyday use. The shirts stand the test of time; and they rarely actually wrinkle–especially if you take them out of the dryer as soon as the drying cycle is done. Moreover, these shirts don’t fray at the ends of the sleeves or the neck with proper care. I like the stitching very much.

The shirts are manufactured from a blend of cotton and polyester–this is excellent since this means that the shirts are permanent press. Some people may suggest that you should tumble dry these shirts on a lower temperature; but I always wash and dry mine in regular temperatures and there’s never a problem. The colors don’t bleed onto any white clothing, either. I’m impressed!

The button down collar gives the shirt a more conservative look; but this works very well in office environments that are somewhat more casual. If you’re wearing this to a “sporty casual” event you can always wear this shirt with an open collar. The button down collar also helps keep the gentleman’s tie in place.

Just one caveat: take these out of your dryer as soon as the drying cycle is finished. That way they will not need any ironing whatsoever and the full effect of the “wrinkle resistant” cloth will be yours. If you leave these in the dryer for several hours they might need a little bit of ironing; and this disappoints me. I have to take off one star for this.

Overall, I still highly recommend these button down long sleeved shirts by Arrow. They are remarkably durable in that they really don’t wrinkle and they are permanent press. They give gents a great “look.”

Excellent product

I really like Arrow shirts, this shirt in particular seems to be very very nice. It pairs well with most slacks and jeans. The material is good (not too flimsy) and the shirt arrived promptly.
